About MeMy name is Linda Solorio and I have been involved with Alaskan Klee Kai for a little over four years. I first heard about this rare breed while I was working at an apartment complex. It was very pet friendly, so I met a lot of people looking for a place that took dogs. At the time, I was actively researching breeds in order to get a dog of my own. When a man named Jeff Baker began telling me about his mini husky (Alasakn Klee Kai), Cayenne, I couldn't wait to learn more. As soon as I could, I went to Eileen's website. It wasn't too long before I had an AKK of my own! Click here to find out more about Kira. Starting in May 2005, Kira and I began showing at both ARBA and UKC shows. We really enjoy meeting all the other AKK and their people. Showing is an enjoyable activity that you can share with your dog. It's also a great chance to meet people in the AKK community. We always have a lot of fun! Go to Shows & Events to find out more. Kira is my one and only breeding female at this time. Many thanks to everyone who has taken the time to give a me help and advice. To find out more, go to Puppies. I do plan to continue showing and breeding AKK for a long time. My goal is to produce dogs that are excellent companions, while maintaining the standards of the breed. I truly enjoy being a part of the AKK community and will continue to be an active member of it for a long while. I am a proud member of AKKAOA. AKKAOA (Alaskan Klee Kai Association of America, Inc.) is a great organization for anyone involved or wanting to be involved with the breed. I am currently serve as the Tally Committee Chair, and as a member of the Show Committee and the California Pet Expo Committee. |
